Palak Gobi - is a side dish prepared using spinach/palak and
gobi/cauliflower which can make a nutritious combination. This recipe I
tried on my own following the procedure like the one usually done for
palak paneer. Made a grvay of palak and added boiled gobi to it, also
added bit of peas which enhanced the color of the sabzi. The taste also
came out well. Hope you like the recipe.
Procedure:
3. In a frying pan add oil, when heated add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, ginger garlic paste,
chopped green chilly. sauté for few mins.
4. Add chopped onions and fry until translucent.
5. Add chopped tomatoes fry for 3-4 mins until it gets mixed well with the oil.
6. Add the ground palak paste and fry it. Add red chilly powder and garam masala,
amchur powder, salt to this and mix well.
7. Add the boiled peas and cauliflower florets. Cover the lid and keep it for 4-5 mins so that
the cauliflower gets mixed up with the spices.
Serve this with roti/chapati.
Notes:
You can also blanch the spinach and then grind it. This process will help in retaining the green color of palak.
